Microsoft driver bug saps Core Duo power

According to Tom's Hardware Guide, their Munich-based lab revealed that Windows-based Intel Core Duo mobile processor platform has a serious power consumption issue. Intel blamed it on a Microsoft driver bug - a bug that has been known by Microsoft for some time, but kept from the public eye until today.
