DLO Flexible Dock For iPod Shuffle : How Conveeeenient.
I tend to think that the iPod Shuffle is just one cool-looking USB flash drive that happens to play MP3s. Anyone who has seen a Shuffle attached to the USB port on their computer would tend to agree - I know a lot of people who actually find it really useful. However, it takes up a LOT of space, inasmuch that you cannot plug any other devices in the USB ports next to it. And having the USB plug on the actual device is a bit worrysome, as one accidental jolt could lead to possible breakage and an unuseable Shuffle.Have no fear, the DLO Flexible Dock For iPod Shuffle solves all of those problems in a jiffy. It's perfect for crowded and/or hard-to-reach USB ports, looks like a natural extension of the Shuffle itself and provides excellent flexibility thanks to its gooseneck cable.
Now, I wonder if these will work with my USB Flash drive...
Features of the DLO Flexible Dock
- Allows iPod shuffle to fit into recessed or closely spaced USB ports
- Prominently displays your iPod shuffle right next to your computer screen
- Frees up adjacent connectors that would otherwise be blocked by iPod shuffle
- Reaches hard to access USB ports to sync and charge your iPod shuffle

Couldn't you just use a $5 usb A-B adaptor? It's EXACTLY the same thing!
I suppose it isn't "gloss white", so if you're too stup.. uh, "silly" enough to buy an iPod in the first place, the fact it is 10x the price of a commercially available product just because it has a swish white cover would appeal to you...

Now now, horses for courses...
The difference with the DLO is that it is a rigid metal cable that acts like a stand, not like a floppy USB cable. Therefore they are NOT exactly the same.

Ahh. It's not immediately apparent from the description - just a reference to "displays your iPod Shuffle next to your monitor.
Is the metal flexible enough to be used left- or right-USB-ported?
Of course, this just means it is only useful for laptops :-P

Yes, it's a gooseneck cable, like the ones you use on lecterns, so it is very flexible, hence the flexdock.
