Bought this for my fiance in May. Never really used it too much until recently, and we can't seem to get it to work (well). First, it doesn't seem to fit in the cigarette lighter socket very well (in any of the 3 cars at our residence), and the biggest issue, is that the device seems to turn off once the shuffle is plugged in. Not just the display, but the red light on the plugin part of the airplay turns off. Comes on again when the shuffle is unplugged. Rinse, repeat... So far this thing has been nothing but unusable :(

Sorry to hear about that. Where did you buy it from? Why don't you get it replaced with one that works?
Best Regards,
Arnold
