1GB xD Picture Card by Sandisk/Olympus

Owners of devices utilising xD picture cards will be pleased to know that Sandisk/Olympus have just released a 1GB version in Australia! These 1GB xD picture cards are the new type M cards. This new Type M xD format allows for the xD-Picture Card to be available in higher capacities. Our first batch of 1GB xD picture cards should be on our shelves by Friday.

Good to see that the xD picture card manufacturers are extending their capacities and attempting to keep up with the other mainstream memory cards like secure digital and compact flash.
