O2 XDA IIi PocketPC : It's officially almost here!
Some good news for gadgeteers who have been biting their finger nails over rumours of release dates for the O2 XDA IIi PocketPC down under...it's almost here! Today while trawling through our Australian O2 XDA supplier's website, we noticed that the O2 XDA IIi are listed although with zero currently available and no ETA. I've heard that they may be in our hot little hands by as soon as next month! Only time will tell.
For those who don't know, the O2 XDA IIi is one of the most powerful Windows Mobile based PDAs available, it's an enhanced version of the popular Xda II and is a personal organiser and a GPRS mobile all-in-one. With tri-band coverage for roaming to the USA, a 1.3 megapixel camera for taking high quality pictures there and then, and Bluetooth for use with your laptop computer or Bluetooth headset, Xda IIi is a flexible and sleek device. Use the integrated Wireless LAN for high-speed internet access.
The dimensions of the XDA IIi are 69.9 (W) x 130 (L) x 19.9 (T) mm approx. 200g. Basically the same as the O2 XDA II, except for changes to the digital camera facsia.

The soon to be released 02 XDA IIi certainly appears to have significant upgrades to all of the major areas of it's specification and usage, making it seriously 'person friendly'. I believe that I shall now buy my first PDA because it seems to now be worthwile from a productivity and usability point of view.
