I use the MobileMate SD+. I cannot write or erase the SD card even with the lock switch up or down. Windows always says the volume is protected. Why? I use Win XP both home and Pro.

Hi Ed,
Have you tried the SD card in other readers/adapters? It could be a problem with the SD card. If it does work fine in other readers, I would send back your MobileMate SD reader for replacement as it could be faulty.

Actually, these also allow you to write to the memory cards too...
