Jabra BT800 Bluetooth Headsets are in!

Jabra BT800 Bluetooth Headset Image

Houston, our first batch of Jabra BT800 Bluetooth Headsets...have landed!! I've got mine charging as I type.

After the great experience I had with it's predecessor the Jabra BT250/FS258, I can't wait to try this bluetooth gadget out.

It's a little heavier than the Sharktooth Bluetooth Headset (19g vs 26g) that I've been testing over the last week but with all the added features such as vibrating call alert, 5 different inbuilt ringtones and Bluetooth 1.2 compliance, it should be worth it. I'll write a review in a couple days to let you know how it goes!

They appear to have done away with the gel earpiece. I thought that was a great feature on the other model. How do you find the BT800 without it?

Can you also let me know if the caller id feature works with the 02 xda mini?

    Thanks,

    Kas.

Hi Kas, yes the BT800 is a lot different from any of the Jabras with it sitting on the outside of the ear. I believe it's because of the weight of this headset - although it only weighs around 27g, it is a bit heavier than its inner ear siblings.

In regards to Caller ID working on the XDA II Mini, yes it does. Mark F, our resident XDA Mini Guru, tried it yesterday and confirmed that it works as per advertised.

A very impressive piece of technology indeed!

    Regards,
    Arnold
